Data security features:

Storage and Retrieval - All files and data are stored and retrieved using SSL/256 bit AES encryption. AES with 256 key length is good for TOP SECRET level!

(What is AES encryption? - AES stands for "Advanced Encryption Standard". This is a cryptography standard put forward by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. According to the US government - "AES is sufficient to protect classified information up to the SECRET level. TOP SECRET information will require use of either the 192 or 256 key lengths".)

(What is SSL encryption? - https refers to the combination of a normal HTTP web connection over an encrypted Secure Sockets Layer, (SSL) to ensure protection from eavesdroppers and hacker attacks. If an eavesdropper were to gain access to encrypted data, the data would be unreadable and thus, unusable to them.

Data Backup - All files and data are stored on redundant mass storage discs. Should there be a disc failure all files still have backup copies.

Around The Clock Building Monitoring - Uninterruptible power supplies, controlled temperature and humidity, fire protection/suppression, and onsite security personnel.

Primary Power - Dual feed uninterruptible power via two distinct supplies.

Battery Backup - 21 days of battery back-up.

Standby Generator Backup - N+1 redundant configuration of 2.2 MVA diesel generators with 28,000 gallons of fuel supply on site, with guaranteed refueling contracts.

Fire Protection - Primary - Inergen Fire suppression. Secondary - Pre-action, dry pipe system that deploys on a localized basis.

Physical Security - Security proximity card access system to the data center augmented by security personnel.
